MEO LANDSCAPES WINS THE NORFOLK TRUSTED TRADER BADGE OF APROVAL

Local landscapers, Meo Landscapers based near Norwich is one the first Landscaping firms in the county and the only Norfolk based member of the Association of Professional Landscapers to be awarded Norfolk Trusted Trader status, Norfolk County Councils new reputable and trustworthy tradesman scheme.Norfolk Trusted Trader helps people to find and check up in advance to contacting professional firms for work in their gardens.

Garden Theft on the increase

Dark winter nights are leading to an increase in garden thefts of equipment tools and even plants, on the Norfolk Suffolk borders this seams to increased considerably over the last few months, householders are urged to be more vigilant in observing unfamiliar cars and persons operating suspiciously and to note or at best report to the local Police station. Also on the increase are bogus gardeners with not much eye for detail more for your ornaments or cash. Rain Delays

Rain is now a major problem for our sites, all garden projects are now waterlogged and were every effort to minimise the mess mud is now rules the day, It is such a problem I have shut down all sites for two days pending evaluation of the weather forecasts on Monday (15th) . The sun will soon be out again albeit not so warm, however we are now running 2 weeks behind schedule.
Meo Landscapes Add Flint Walling to Portfolio

Meo Landscapes have recently attended a refresher course in Flint and Cobble Wall construction with thanks to Essex County Council, and now can offer the service to clients in Norfolk and Suffolk who wish to have these types of wall built. We are keen to follow the traditional methods of construction using local materials and offer the service both to domestic clients for private gardens and associations, local authorities or charities like church yards; we also see a great demand for alternative uses such as Dwarf walls for greenhouses or cloches. MEO LANDSCAPES Joins APL

Meo Landscapes is pleased to announce that we have re-joined The Association of Profesional Landscapers.
I see this as an exciting and critical move towards inproving standards and quality of are work and managing growth as we continue to expand the company.
The Association is endorsed by TrustMark, a Government backed service standard and members apply the strictest health and safety criteria both areas we have resently inproved upon.
The APL ensures that members undergo an annual independent inspection and all members have to agree and adhere to a strict Customer Charter.
As Norfolks only member of the APL we are looking forward to benchmarking standards with are clients in the area. The APL also has strong links with the society of garden designers.
We also look forward to attending further APL training and attending business inprovment days.
